The Bag Smith Block n' Roll Mat provides a great surface for blocking projects. It rolls up for easy storage! With a generous surface area, this mat accommodates projects of many sizes and is great for knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing, needlepoint, cross stitch, and scrapbooking. Projects may be pinned directly onto the mat. The 20x20mm grid lines are very useful in lining up and keeping straight edges, hems, and seams. The Teflon coated surface is heat and water resistant allowing for steam blocking, wet blocking, and pressing. When you're finished blocking simply roll the mat up and secure it with the handy ties on the edge.
The mat is made from Teflon-coated fabric laminated to 8mm thick foam and overall dimensions are 38" x 55".
